One of the finest & most expensive hotels in Thomasville, Georgia. Conveniently located in downtown and a walk away from churches, restaurants, shops, and attractions. It was close to all the places we needed to go in Thomasville. I loved the new furnishings and the spacious ambience of the hotel. At $110 a night, it is on the pricey side. We stayed two nights. We liked how impressive and clean our room was upon entering. The sensor light in the large mirror at the entrance was a nice touch. The bathroom shower was modern and the long shower there was a relief. There were very few to no concerns. I looked in the closet to use a spare throw blanket. I found spare bed sheets and a pillow with a blood spot. The air conditioning is loud but no bother to us. The internet for the television was disconnected so we couldn’t watch our Netflix or Max on the television on our second night. They have a Keurig coffee machine and coffee inside the room, a fridge, and microwave are free amenities inside the room, yet there is no free breakfast and coffee downstairs. They do have a small Shoppette to buy necessities and bistro to buy meals & drinks in the lobby. Two large hot coffees in the lobby cost us $18. The menu looked good yet expensive as well. We opted eating the snacks & food we had on us and buying a quick ready meal from Publix. If you want to stay a walk away from certain places and attractions in downtown, this hotel is very ideal & convenient.
We started having our company retreats at this location (coming up again next week) and loved it. The staff gives us a good rate and are very friendly to us. It’s quaint and pretty. We enjoy staying there and the proximity to good restaurants for dinner. My only suggestions — place water bottles in the room and provide half and half for coffee drinkers (not the powdered kind).
It is a very nice property. Although a little overpriced for the area. They offer very few amenities, only 2 tiny cups of coffee in the room, unlike all other hotel franchises that have coffee in the lobby. No bottle water offered. Bistro cafe was okay, but the so-called crispy Chicken Sandwich was nothing more than a prefab, round patty like banquet makes. See pic Overall a nice motel, enjoyed my stay.
Nice property created to fit the area. The property has been maintained and clean. The restaurant serves an excellent selection of yummy dishes and the team is always helpful.
This was a nice, well kept hotel with unique design and a great neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around downtown for food and shops without having to get in the car and drive somewhere. Staff was kind and very helpful. The hotel felt cleaner and newer than some other Courtyard locations we've stayed in. The only negative I saw was that the couch was extremely dirty with large stains of varying shade and color. I literally did not want to sit on it.
